Public beta begins for Azure SQL Data Warehouse

December 11 · Issue #26 · View online
//Product Updates
  • Our latest destination, Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse, is now available as a public beta for all Stitch users.
  • We’ve added SSL certificate verification for PostgreSQL destinations. Users can now provide a certificate for their PostgreSQL destination that will be used to verify the identity of their server.
  • We’ve also added support for the NUMERIC data type in BigQuery destinations. Numeric data will be loaded into NUMERIC columns going forward, rather than columns with the floating point data type. Additionally, our BigQuery destination is now compatible with date partitioned and clustered tables.
  • We’ve updated the Facebook Ads integration to use the latest version of the Facebook Marketing API – version 3.2.
  • Customers using log-based replication with Postgres and MySQL can now select all tables and columns to replicate to a data warehouse without having to select each table individually.
Visit the Stitch changelog for more details and links to documentation to help you get started with all of these new features. And remember, you get seven days of free, unlimited replication from every new data source you add, so you can load historical data for a new integration without affecting your monthly quota.
// Company update
As we announced last month Stitch has become part of Talend, a company that provides platforms for data integration across public, private, and hybrid clouds and on-premises environments. It also offers Open Studio, an open source data integration platform. We at Stitch couldn’t be happier. We’re planning to keep going and growing.
